Manual
Settings
General
Login item (“always running”), device sounds on plugging/unplugging, global cough shortcut ⌥⌘M (mutes all hardware microphones system-wide — even in the background).
Audio buffers
IO buffer size (128–1024 frames) and ring headroom control the trade-off between latency and robustness. “Automatic” is the safe default; smaller buffers = less latency, larger = more stable under heavy load. Takes effect the next time a device starts.
Configuration
Export/import saves all virtual devices, settings and presets as one file — for backups or moving to your second Mac. Profiles store switchable states of the same setup.
Driver
Shows the installed and the bundled driver version. “Update/reinstall driver” installs the bundled version (admin password, brief audio restart), “Remove driver” uninstalls it without leftovers.
Uninstalling
Help → “Uninstall NoicePatch” removes the driver, login item and settings and moves the app to the trash — the complete teardown in two clicks.
